Mission Statement

• CAADE (rhymes with ‘aid’) was introduced to the public in 1988, founded by Philip and Bernice Walker to fight for the rights of older workers.
• CAADE first recognised and outlined the need for legislation to ban age discrimination way back in 1993 when its findings were first published. 
• The law passed by the British Government in 2006 was almost a replica of CAADE’s first plan.
• The organisation went on to set up counseling and coaching services for the over 45’s,  having modelled this in practice by running ‘Back to Work’ programmes in Greater Manchester.
• Today CAADE is almost entirely Internet based.  However this convenience for us need not be an inconvenience for you as we continue to answer and help anyone over the age of 45 (or thereabouts) to come to terms with elements of their lives that are closely associated with their age range.
• Our Mission Statement is more fully realised by reading the content outlined in our websites.  Not only do we care and fight for our charges now we have also extended our services to encompass a more commercial element, seeking to provide for the needs of this age group with quality merchandise and service.
